- Dual independent VSS outputs ā drive your speedometer and ECM with different pulse counts/ratios from the same harness (pre-set: 40 pulse + 16 pulse, both adjustable)
- Auto-shifting signal output ā pushes ±5V square wave OR 0 to +10V positive-only, depending on what your ECM needs
- Smart reverse lockout ā user-defined speed setting (default: locked above 4 mph, unlocked 0ā3 mph) instead of a crude on/off switch
- Pre-wired reverse light output ā single output wire, ground locally at the bulb
- Epoxy-sealed control box ā mounts to the VSS output using the existing bolt
Why this matters
Getting the right speed sensor signal and properly controlling the reverse lockout are the two most frustrating parts of a T-56 Magnum swap. Most builders end up with up to 5 separate components, a tangle of wiring, and still don't have proper lockout control. The All-in-One harness puts everything in one weatherproof package.
The reverse lockout solenoid is a spring-loaded pin that prevents accidental shifts into reverse when going for 5th gear. Hardwiring it to a brake-light switch (the common DIY method) works but overworks the solenoid and shortens its life. This harness uses a speed-based trigger like the OE system does ā and lets you tune the trigger speed from the app.
